Clothing for healthcare professionals and textiles of the Prolen®Medical line are made of 100% polypropylene fiber Prolen®Siltex and Prolen®Bodyfresh , which is treated with a permanent antimicrobial treatment based on silver and zinc ions, and which meets health safety requirements according to the valid legislation of the Slovak Republic and the European Union. The antimicrobial additive is homogeneously distributed in the mass of Prolen®Siltex and Prolen®Bodyfresh polypropylene fibers with effectiveness throughout the entire lifespan of the final product.

The Prolen®Medical product line complies with the EN 13795-1 standard (surgical drapes, gowns and clean air clothing used as medical devices for patients, healthcare personnel and equipment) and contributes to the prevention of contamination in the hospital environment with the main impact on healthcare-associated infections.

Recommended use:

The product is suitable for protection for everyday wear in hospital facilities, when handling and visiting medical facilities, clinics, wellness salons, spas, etc. Its material composition provides increased protection against viruses and bacteria. It prevents foreign substances from penetrating the skin. The product is easily washed from chemical stains and grease, dries easily and quickly and does not need to be ironed. It is easy to maintain.

Recommended care:

Prolen®Medical can be washed and sterilized several times until it is mechanically damaged. The product has a minimum lifespan of 100 washes while maintaining its antimicrobial properties.

Recommended care:

• Wash between 40ºC and 70ºC, recommended temperature 60°C .
• We recommend spinning at 400 rpm , max. 600 rpm .
• Cleaning agent: any type, disinfectants including chlorine are also allowed.
• To maintain the hydrophobicity of the product, do not use fabric softener .
• Drying: quick drying , zero water absorption.
• Tumble dryer: recommended temperature 40ºC / max. 40ºC; duration: 20 min. + 5 min. cold.
• Drying tunnel: recommended 70ºC, max 70ºC.
• Ironing: DO NOT iron directly, only ironing at low temperatures with steam is allowed.
• After the washing or drying process is complete, it is recommended to hang or fold the clothes immediately to reduce the number of creases.
• Sterilization max. up to 135°C
